In 2006 I was compelled to write a story about 18th century, feudal Japan. Thus, Akira, Ryoko, Jin, and the world of Visage were born. Throughout the years, the idea began to synthesize with a second genre: cyberpunk. Many social, cultural, and economic questions arose from this fusion. What if samurai were white-collar workers? What could family units look like within a severely limited population? How would nationalism affect scientific advancements in this world?
The world of Visage functions as a framework where further research and expansion can integrate through the three protagonists and potentially future characters.
The Visage introductory arcs are divided into 3 parts per character, 9 parts in total.
The 1.0 series follows ronin Kamizora Akira.
The 2.0 series follows corporate samurai
the 3.0 series is dedicated to Hoshino Ryoko, a Titanese clone living on Earth.
